The 38-page handwritten logbook containing dozens of general memos signed by proxy for various British Navy and Marine officers during the time period 1807-1809. Most of the entries were made on board a specific ship at a specific location. Some of the ships included in the writer's itinerary are the Zealand, the Agincourt, the Amethyst, the Clyde, the Iris, the Albicore and the Daphne.
