Huygens
Christiaan Huygens, a Dutch astronomer, created one of the first accurate pendulum clocks, which opened the door to determining equations of time directly thereby helping science involving planetary theory. He also discovered the nature of the rings of Saturn.
Huygens willed the publication of this book, Cosmotheoros, to his brother Constantine, however, both men died before the initial publication in 1698.
