Literary Societies at Rice

This exhibit tells the visual history of the literary societies, women's groups, that populated the Rice University campus from 1916 to the 1980s.

There is information on the history of these societies, as well as images from the following groups: the Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society, the Owen Wister Literary Society, the Sarah Lane Literary Society, the Pallas Athene Literary Society and the Chaile Rice Literary Society.
