People of Art Special Collection - Dandee Warhol

Dandee Warhol, originally named Dandee Danao, was born in California. When he was one year old, he moved to the Philippines with his mother and younger brother, and spent his early childhood there. In fourth grade, he moved back to the United States to Katy, Texas. During his teen years, he was influenced by hip hop and street culture. Dandee is a full-time art teacher and an artist; he collaborates frequently with a partner Marjon Aucoin, and the duo work collectively as “DeeJon”. Dandee is color blind and paints colors with his intuition and judgements.
