Dr. Meng Yeh was born in Hualien, Taiwan in 1961. After graduating from college in Taiwan, she came to the States in 1986 for her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees. She met her husband at UT Austin, started a family, and decided to become an American citizen. Nowadays, Dr. Yeh is heavily involved within the Rice University community, including heading the Chinese Program at the Center for Languages & Intercultural Communication.
